Gassgut is more than a place to stay. It is a farm with over a hundred years of history – a piece of lived tradition, brought into the present with great love and sensitivity. Between old wooden beams and modern details, you can feel the connection between yesterday and today: rustic, authentic and full of character.
At the heart of the farm is Sabrina, a florist and passionate host. She combines the beauty of nature with life on the farm – growing flowers and herbs herself, creating floristry with soul and filling every room with warmth and personality.
Gassgut is a passion project. A place where you arrive, unwind and feel the real South Tyrol – original, cosy and stylish.

Schlafgut
Sleep better than you have in a long time
Swiss pine wood has been proven to lower heart rate and promote restful sleep. In the Valley apartment, a modern double bed made of Swiss pine awaits you — crafted from our own forest. In the Mountain apartment, you sleep in an antique Swiss pine bed perfect for relaxing and dreaming.
Our duvets are made from 100% sheep's wool — temperature-balancing, breathable and moisture-regulating. Perfect for a cosy, restful sleep, and also ideal for allergy sufferers.
On the upper floor, in the open gallery, you'll find a cosy room with two beds beneath the original preserved roof structure. This creates a homely feeling of shelter and comfort — pure nest warmth.
Well-Balcony
"Well" means good — and that's exactly what our Well-Balcony is. With a view of the village centre and the forest, the sound of the Jaufental stream in your ears and the sun on your face, you leave everyday life behind. Comfortable loungers and true tranquillity.

The Ratschings-Jaufen ski area can be reached in around 15 minutes with the free ski shuttle bus. Numerous winter hiking and snowshoeing routes also start directly from the farm, such as the approximately 10 km Hochplatto–Platschjoch trail...

Sabrina, host and florist, grows many plants and herbs herself and transforms them into lovingly crafted arrangements, wreaths and decorations. Our everyday life, your experience
Weekly farm tour: Discover the rural way of life of days gone by. During the tour, you will come across historic equipment and tools, fascinating curiosities, and many treasured keepsakes from the original Rainer family.
Relaxation in our attic sauna: On request, we heat our private attic sauna exclusively for you. In the cosy relaxation area, surrounded by the soothing scent of hay, you can experience your farm holiday with all your senses.
Cosy time in the traditional lounge: Our inviting traditional lounge is available to you throughout the day and is the perfect place to enjoy quality time together. Make yourselves comfortable by the warm stove, relax on the heated bench, play board games, or draw with the children in the lovingly designed play corner.
